Music is found in every known culture, past and present, varying widely between times and places. From research, it has been concluded that music may have been in existence for over 50, 000 years and the first music may have been invented in Africa and the evolved to become a fundamental constituent of human life. In the world of today, so many types of music has evolved, each type striving to gain superiority over the others. But among the youths of these century, Hip-hop has made its way to the top, it is the trending music. So many songs are churned out daily in this industry by various artistes, from the famous ones to rising-stars. Among these people, only a few from each of both categories really understand the idea of music and how it works, what I call ‘music mechanics’. One of these few I have met in recent times is an enthusiastic, young and brilliant upcoming artiste by the stage-name HAGREEN.
HAGREEN was the Artiste of the year for Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan in 2013. He has a song in the mix which will be dropped pretty soon in which he featured SPYRO PHREEZE. An interview with this handsome young man three (3) days ago revealed so many interesting things about him. On what motivates him, surprisingly, he simply said, “Music is my life”. He explained that the creativity comes so easy.
